PU Vice Chancellor Prof Arun Kumar Grover signed the MoU on behalf of the PU. President
Dr. Dan Hocoy had signed the MoU on behalf of the Antioch University. The Antioch University delegation consisted of two teachers and 11 students. Director of Clinical Training, Antioch University Dr. Angie Hoffpauir, Professor Emeritus Jitendra Mohan, Dean International Students Prof Deepti Gupta, Director Research Promotion Cell Prof O.P. Katare, Secretary to Vice Chancellor, Dr. Col. P.S. Sandhu (Retd.), Associate Director Prof Ramanjit Kaur Johal and Director Public Relations Mr. Vineet Punia were also present on the occasion.
As per the agreement, each institution may offer to the other opportunities for activities and programs such as teaching, research, exchange of faculty and students, and staff development that will foster a collaborative relationship. The financing of the activities in the agreement shall be dependent on the availability of funds and shall be subject to specific agreements by which these activities may be accomplished.
The two Universities agreed to contemplate implementation of programs or activities like
joint educational, cultural, and research activities; exchange of teaching staff and advanced graduate students for research, lectures, and discussions; participation in seminars and academic meetings, exchange of academic materials, publications, and other information; and special short-term academic programs. The two Universities have agreed designate an individual to coordinate the program and all endeavors that may derive from it. For the purpose, Antioch University Seattle has designated Academic Dean Dr. Jane Harmon Jacobs and PU has designated the Chairperson of the Psychology Department Prof. Meena Sehgal.
