The sweetness of her laughter.

0

Little pieces of her can be found,

In these pretty faces that I see.
The sweetness of her laughter’s around
On the lonely roads I’m bound to be.

In this town where I ramble,
The people are many,
But their hands are all empty.
Down the long road I shamble,
Where the years pass me by,
So long since we were twenty.

Hopeful I’ve walked,
Through rain and sleet.
Kept the fire burning,
For whenever we meet.
If only I could show her,
My thoughts and dreams.

She’d know what’s forever,
What it really means.

All I long for, is a silence,
To reminisce our times together.
May be another chance,
At the moments I’d like to gather.
The dark winter dusks,
And the brutal summer suns,
Talk nothing but about you.

The flowers though breath-like,
Seem so deathlike from my window view.

But I can hold my ground,
When it gets too dark to see,
For the sweetness of her laughter’s around
On the lonely roads I’m bound to be.
