Testosterone: Game Changer

Testosterone plays a vital role in male body it can be the motivating factor and it can also lead to depression and sluggish behaviour. Testosterone levels vary from person to person and with age it can both elevate and drop, for example in early 20’s you are at the peak and by the time you reach mid 30’s the levels tend to drop drastically.

Benefits of good testosterone levels:

  • Confidence
  • Competitiveness
  • Dominance without aggression.

Easy steps to maintain good T-levels:

  • Don’t skip healthy fats

It’s very important to keep a check on your daily fat intake in order to maintain good testosterone levels, be it in the form of nuts olive oil, flaxseeds, avocados or peanut butter.

  • Keeping a check on Vitamin D and zinc

If you are deficit in either Vitamin D or zinc which is more common these days, your testosterone levels are likely to dip. If you are not deficit in either of the above, taking more will not support your testosterone levels. Doses may vary from person to person.

  • Exercise and lift weights

Exercise is one of the most effective ways to prevent many lifestyle related diseases, especially working on your lower body and planning your workout around the big compound movement  can  aid in boosting testosterone levels.

  • Avoid Estrogen like compounds

High exposure to estrogen like chemical can affect your testosterone level, avoid using plastics as it full of chemicals. Daily consumption of alcohol can be another reason if your testosterone levels are dropping so keeping a check is must on your drinks. Last but not the least avoid eating preservatives.
