Seven days NSS Camp summed up at UILS


Panjab University (PU), Chandigarh today, the seven days NSS Camp summed up with the
valedictory function at University Institute of Legal Studies (UILS). Dean Faculty of Law Ms. Anu Chatrath was the chief guest on the occasion. She extolled the various social and academic activities performed by NSS volunteers during the camp. She appreciated the volunteers for social and legal awareness through Nukkad Naatak on domestic violence and drug addiction in Dhanas village. She exhorted the students to take active participation in social welfare programmes. She inspired the law students to understand the various relevant issues like women exploitation, poverty, illiteracy and childe labour. NSS Co-ordinator Prof Yograj Angrish also inspired the NSS volunteers to their contribution in social welfare and development process. With full of contentment of seven days camp activities, Prof Angrish assured the volunteers that this would remain continue in future. NSS volunteers Amandish presented seven days camp report. UILS Director Sangeeta Bhalla appreciated the various activities of the camp and congratulated Dr. Pushpinder Kaur, Amrtipal Kaur, Harvinder Singh and NSS Programme officer Dr. Vijay Lakshmi, Dr Nirmal Singh and Dr. Pawan.
