Recolor Death

Let us change the colour of death

For black is now tainted,

And rejoice in it’s aftermath

Glorify the new canvas painted.

Re-conceptualize the bright eternal light

As my eyes are blinded,

Both perception and reality fight

Before the soul and it’s purpose are reunited.

Let us smile over loss,

A realization of being bounded

I’ll make sure no grave is covered in moss

Whenever god leaves me confounded

Let us fetch some colours from the rainbow

For black is too clean,

Let us put up a good show

By colouring the tears blue and then green

Make a beautiful woman personify demise

As the skull faced man is too ugly

Let her be sugar and spice but not too nice

For death shall be peaceful; snugly

Let us recolour death

Because black is too blatant,

It’s nothing; just loss of breath

Where life stands statant.
