Enlightening the students about the importance of youth in the nation’s development, Panjab University’s very own Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) organized a seminar on the “Role of Youth in National Integrity” in Law Auditorium on April 6, 2016.

The main idea behind the event was to empower youth. And since India has a good number of youth population, it was emphasized that they must walk long and strong, to build the country’s future.

The event started with the great vibe and energy radiating from the audience. One could hear “Bhaarat Maata Ki Jai” as one entered the auditorium. By paying tribute to the Goddess Saraswati and reformer Swami Vivek Ananda, the event flagged off on a pious note.

It was followed by speeches by the likes of BJP General Secretary Dinesh Kumar; Organizing Secretary ABVP North India, Navneen Sharma, along with Kanwar Rana and Sourabh Kapoor.

Zeroing on to the topic of the day, Kanwar Rana said “One must live on their own, independent. You can take others help, only when you are supposed to be cremated.”

Similarly, Prof. Sanjay Kaushik mentioned about “a tycoon inside the youth of India”and how the responsibility of the youth is to “bring prosperity to the nation”.

Following the awe-inspiring speeches by the speakers of the day, the ABVP members were given acknowledgement and presented saffron shawls for their selfless contribution to the society and the endless spirit of nationalism.
