‘Game of Thrones’ has become an integral part of many of us. Dun dun dun dun, has become the most murmured opening-theme song of any sitcom ever. Watching our favourite characters die in the coming episode has become a daily thing for us. Shame, Shame, Shame, is what we do when we see something bad happening. GoT has officially taken over our lives and is never leaving us.
Panjab University has been looking over it’s students from the University campus and affiliated college since a long time now. It’s student’s Facebook accounts has shown that the most talked and popular topic among them is ‘Game of Thrones’ (against their expectations, which were Economics and Psychology). They noted that people easily engage in a conversation relating to it. And keeping in mind the same, they have decided to expand their list of certificate, diploma and PG diploma courses to include a subject which is going to be the most famous– *drum-roll* GAME OF THRONES.
Yes, you read it right our dream is coming true. Panjab University is officially going to teach Game of Thrones as a one-year PG Diploma to it’s student. The subject includes three parts, namely, History, Geography and Politics (of GoT). The subject will be taught by the experts of the sitcom and the students applying to the subject will be watching the new episodes all together in the law auditorium.
To get yourself admitted to the subject/course you will have to log into www.GoT.puchd.ac.in and use the password “Winter is Coming”. The classes start on the 31st of July, but with limited seats, precisely, 250. So, enroll yourself as soon as possible.
All the GoT lovers out there, this is the time to get yourself a bachelors degree in the most loved TV series ever. It’s time to pay the debt to GoT in lieu of the happy times it has gifted us, by gathering knowledge and spreading it; because a Lannister always pays his debts.
Dun dun dudunn-dun dun dun dudunn.
Disclaimer: Bogus Bulletin is our Thursday section of believably fake news. Game of Thrones is one of the very famous TV series in India. Most of us eagerly wait for the new episodes. Most of us consider ourselves as the experts but what if there was an actual course for the same? You never know, this might come true one day.
