Take a trip to the mountains and you’ll know what magic is.
Drive through the night while it’s raining. The rain droplets on the
windscreen look like millions of tiny stars belonging to a different
galaxy woven together into a transparent blanket that glows every time
you pass a street light.
Open the window and feel the cold air caress your face till your nose is red.
The mountain air?
There is something so distinctly special about it, something that
makes you instantly and insanely happy. Like the aroma of cinnamon
mixed in the air from your favorite coffee.
Oh and darling the sky?
It is like a blank canvas waiting to be painted by thousands of
constellations that you discover in the night quietly waltzing around
the stars, stopping by the duller ones for just a moment longer least
they feel lonesome.
And you’ll twirl and dance and dip and get back up laughing till your
jaws hurt and will put the wish in the wishful.
And baby just when you start to feel tired and cold?
The day will remove it’s silver beaded veil and show it’s beautiful
face. A face so beautiful that it will knock the wind out of your
lungs.
Dawn.
And for the first time you’ll discover what the smell of hope feels like.
Like freshly baked cookies for a midnight snack.
Hope.
Just when you thought the night would never end and you’ll freeze?
A new day.
A new Starting.
And YOU will put the star in the starting.
