In a candid conversation with Kuldeep Kaur, a care taker at Kartar Asra, we figured out that the orphanage is 7 years old. An old lady named, Lajwant Kaur whose son came to India after 32 years and sold off all the property as he left her in the old age home, even shared her plight. With an eye watering yet auspicious event, the day came to an
end with distributing gifts to the children and serving them some delectable food, which left their heart and soul satisfied.
