‘I Am Still Human’ Walks Silently for the Cause

A pledge to make our motherland stronger

Realising the dire need for change and an unbreakable resolve to bring about the much needed revolution, ‘I Am Still Human’ organised a silent march on 24th September, 2016 at Sukhna Lake; in the solemn memory of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the Uri Attack.

The silent march was a heartfelt tribute to pay regards and deep condolences, while the volunteers displayed respect, patriotism and concern for the sons of our motherland who laid their lives fighting for our safety.

Being much more than a march, it was an appeal to the citizens at large to feel connected with the army, as they share their pain and be united as one; to do away with all that makes us feel alienated from the army. Nitisha Chauhan, the proud daughter of Shahid Major Diwan Chand Chauhan, who laid down his life for the sake of our motherland, took the appeal forward.
