The tricity is soon going to witness offbeat, energetic and enthusiastic, Homebound Music Festival to be organised by Worker Bee on November 25th, 2016.

Needless to say, Worker Bee has defeated all the possible organizations in spreading its event among the right audience. They do not woo the crowd by hollow baits, but believe in bringing the best for their followers by being a friend. Worker Bee is an independent art promoting agency, which brings various musicians and artists to the tricity. The man of their events is Kunal Malhotra and his ever enthusiastic team members- Yash Khullar, Chetan Monga and Nitin Prashar. Mirror interviewed this interesting personality to know more about Worker Bee and Homebound Music Festival.

homebound1) What is the organisation Worker Bee all about?
Worker Bee is an organisation which promotes independent art and offbeat music. Worker Bee came out as a need. Work ethics involve, approaching a music artist, booking that artist, respecting him and his music, deciding venue, hospitality and also payment procedures; although all of this was very vague and unsynchronised. The music culture of Chandigarh was laid back. It needed a rebirth and that’s where Worker Bee came in front.

Worker Bee aims to promote DIY in music industry, it gives a stage to artists who are not attached to any label, strive to produce their own music, something new and totally independent; in layman terms, non-Bollywood music.

2.) Tell us more about Homebound Music Festival?
As you all know Homebound Music Festival is scheduled for Friday, November 25th 2016; Saby, Parvaaz, The Local Train and Prateeek Kuhad will be there to play for the grandest open air live music festival in Chandigarh. It’s an initiative by Worker Bee to promote the culture of independent music in tricity. There are a lot of people who crave for this kind of music, this festival is there to quench their thirst. Most of the tickets have already been sold and we are expecting a huge number that is going to be more than our capacity.

3.) What are the perks of attending Homebound Music Festival?
Of course good music, with a disposition towards regional dialect. This festival will bring same kind of people together. We are giving freedom to people in all ways. Festival is open for all sorts of people; working, students, families, differently abled, and couples. This festival caters needs of all kinds of people in Chandigarh.

4.) So you have provisions for differently abled people too?
Yes! We have made special provisions for them as well, so that they can also enjoy comfortably.

5.) What else apart from that?
There is going to be amazing food, wine, whisky and beautiful music. A wonderful evening with lifetime memories.
