Foreign Students Day celebrated at MCM


The MCM Rotaract Club, in supervision of the Foreign Student Cell headed by Dr. Vinni Arora, brought about an amalgamation festivity with a FOREIGN┬áSTUDENT’S DAY CELEBRATION on Oct 7,2015.

The college attracts students of various nations such as Afghanistan, Bhutan, USA, Zimbabwe, Thailand and Sri Lanka. Celebrating the college’s cordial connections with the International arena, a presentation was given about the ways of life in different countries and provided in-depth knowledge of the various cultures.

Further forming a link between the difference in social upbringing and cultural ties, a number of dance performances such as Afghan and Thai dance instilled the aroma of their tradition in the minds of the our hearts.

Donning their respective cultural dresses, various students brought back the feeling of home to their hearts by participating in the modelling competition. The modelling contest consisted of three rounds and the laurels won by the beauties were a pure treat to watch. While the title of “MISS MCM INTERNATIONAL” was won by Khadija Ziwani from Afganistan, Khojesta Rahmani and Gajendran Satha snatched the first and second runner up position respectively. For the title of “MISS CHARMING MCM”, Awista was selected among other girls.

This event was a step forward to embracing the international unity and integrity India is bestowed with. More or less, the seed of Global World seems to have been sown!
