Blink!eyes closed.

She spread her wings
and scaled the sky

Velvety wings,sharp antenna’s
and the butterfly came into focus

Blue sky and cottony clouds in the background
as she hopped about from flower to flower

She saw a bigger butterfly flap her wings one last time

How the ants celebrated a feast,
Over her funeral

She re flapped her wings and curled up in her favourite flower, the rose

She was lured by a strange fragrance ,
that lead her to a new breed of flowers

Just when she was building a home in its pollen,
The air blew her back to the rose

Flapped away with her wings

Another one of her year passed by

The butterfly kept flying around the rose bushes.
