The second day of the superlative and sublime fest of BDS Department, Ignition 2k16 took the bars high on November 24th, 2016. It clearly seemed to be a time for the cultural and literary activities to continue.

It all started with the extempore in the morning. What a time it was to behold and hear the different participants present their views on day to day life matters and stuff that the whole world debates for two minutes straight after just a minute.

It was followed by the duet and group (Western and Folk) dance. The participants took the stage by a storm dancing to Indian and Indo Western fusion music, making the audience get to their feet and follow the steps or just generally dance and cheer having a gala time.

Then, the students had the much awaited Teachers Fashion Show where the participant doctor faculty members took the stage by a storm and enthralled the audience by their stupendous performance.

If that was not enough, the mesmerizing Fashion Shows- first, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil depicting 7 stages of love and then the highly anticipated, spell binding Culture and Civilization Fashion Show depicting the diverse cultures of the world through different attires and demeanors to go with it, took the audience for a ride. The audience was enchanted by the end of it.

To follow up was the much sought after Mr and Ms Charismatic titles where students were there dressed in the most appealing apparels with their talents and wits at display to win it.

The parody that followed took the cake in which the interns enacted some relatable and comical scenes depicting their journey through this college, followed by Ignivision which was a presentation of glimpses of their life in and outside the college in these five years which left the Batch of 2012 with numb eyes by the end.

A second year student, Arnav Munjal gave the Vote of Thanks to the Batch of 2012 for putting up such a spectacular event

And to conclude with the cultural and literary events, we had the Prize Distribution with prizes being distributed with much cheering and applause.

To conclude with day 2, there was the much awaited Star Night with all the students looking elegant and energetic, ready to dance to the Beats of the enchanting Punjabi singer Alfaaz.

The event left everyone spellbound and nothing was below expectations with everything going smoothly.
