6 Tips To Bear Summer Sun!

This season of fruits and chilled drinks (and ice cream!) brings with itself, a plethora of problems mainly related to skin, hair and health. So to overcome these, we need to make some changes in our diet and lifestyle.
Here are 6 summer care tips for everyone to be healthy and happy:

point-1Heat strokes occur when body absorbs more heat than it dissipates. It is also very soothing to drink a lemonade or even treat yourself with a lassi. If a heat stroke does occur, it is useful to apply ice on the forehead or take a cold shower.

point-4Rosacea symptom is that skin will turn red due to exposure of sun and the heat. So it is advisable to avoid direct sunlight and to apply sunscreen regularly. Also don’t forget to weekly exfoliate your skin. Instead of using branded scrubs, it is preferable to use home-made scrubs made with natural ingredients like besan, multani mitti, lemon, curd and haldi. Also using rose water can prove to be very beneficial for the skin.
3) Make friends with H2O:
hyderatedHigher temperatures and more time outdoors can make us internally dehydrated thus causing dizziness and headache. So all should ensure that they drink 10 ounces of water everyday.
4) Juicy fruits and salad:
point-2It is the season of fruits so do not miss out on any of them. Try out more and more juicy fruits like watermelon, musk melon, mangoes to get back all the moisture that you lose out in the daylight. It keeps the skin healthy and glowing.
5) Apparels:
point-5Wearing loose fitting and light coloured clothes helps in remaining cool throughout the day. Also wearing accessories like hats and sunglasses is trendy as well as practical as it saves us from the sweltering heat.
6) Hair care:
pointHair is also an important part of the body, split ends and dry hair are common problems in summer. So while getting hair products, it should be kept in mind that they are sulphate free. Heat producing products should be used rarely. Also, conditioning the hair is as important as shampooing it. This will help in protecting the hair as well as in nourishing it. Balancing the pH value of the hair will help in improving the hair naturally.
