“Hindi TV Shows”
“Hindi TV Shows who?”
Now, before you decide not to read this article further because you think that my joke is lame, take a minute to reconsider. Isn’t this your reaction every time someone mentions how “entertaining” Hindi soap operas are? Don’t you feel like you are losing IQ points every time you happen to come across a new and dumber TV show being aired? Aren’t you sick of watching Simars and Simrans struggling to impress their mother-in-laws? Don’t you, too, stay up at nights trying to find some decent entertainment in this age of trashy daily soaps?
Don’t you worry anymore, child. Go, get your laptop and binge watch these 4 TV series on YouTube right now and thank me later!

Probably the raunchiest and wildest web series to have been released by YFilms till now, Ladies Room follows the life of two extremely (un)sanskari, crazy best friends, Dingo and Khanna, as they unapologetically make their way through life. The show is set in 6 different washrooms and depicts the struggles of the two friends as they curse, cry and do everything in between, in an attempt to keep their lives together. Extremely relatable and humorous, the show is a perfect representation of “girl bros” and is a must watch for everyone!
Cast: Saba Azad, Shreya Dhanwanthary
How many times have we wondered what would happen if men were treated the way women are? If men were bound by the kind of hypocritical standards that women are? What if men were made to walk the extra mile in 6 inch heels just like women are? This web series is an attempt towards answering such questions in a parallel world where everything is flipped. An honest and humorous take on patriarchy, this show comes as a breath of fresh air while managing to make a strong point about the need for gender equality.
Cast: Parineeti Chopra, Aditi Mittal, Cryus Sahukar
Genre: Comedy (A what if)
- Bang Baaja Baaraat (YFilms)
This entertaining masterpiece is a hilarious take on the ‘big fat Indian wedding’. The story revolves around Shahana and Pawan, two people from extremely different backgrounds who fall in love and decide to get married. The roller coaster ride begins when they decide to make their parents meet and seek their blessing for the marriage. Brilliantly penned characters, perfectly delivered punch lines and an overly dramatic script about an Indian wedding, what else could you possibly ask for in a web series?
