The annual 10th Chandigarh Science Congress (CHASCON), sectional programme organized in various departments entered its second day today . CHASCON is a unique platform for academicians, scientists, research scholars and even various young researchers to pursue their academic and scientific goals.
Professor A.K Grover, the Vice chancellor of Panjab University welcomed the delegates and the participants. He stressed the need for the young minds to have a scientific temperament and make use of this platform to exchange ideas and expertise and reignite their minds.
Dr Harvansh Singh Judge Institute Of Dental Sciences & Hospital had some really mind-stimulating topics for paper and poster presentations. Dr Anubha Gulati, Associate Professor, Department of Oral Pathology and Dr Chhabra assessed the paper presentations while Dr Urvashi Sharma, Associate Professor, Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry and Dr Sukant Kumar Garg, Associate Professor, evaluated the poster presentations by the various participants. They were given mementos as a token of appreciation. The participants were doctors from PGIMER, various departments of PU and Dr Harvansh Singh Judge Institute Of Dental Sciences & Hospital. There was something for every delegate attending the CHASCON, from latest researches from nanorobotics and to simpler topics like various brushing techniques.
There was an overwhelming response of the participants; around 60 participants in each section showcased their presentations. Special thanks to Dr Devinder Preet Singh, sectional secretary, Dental/Medical Sciences for making this event go smoothly without any hurdles Thus, the second day of CHASCON was a huge success.
